Migration from SMA to TMA for genuconnect

The operating approval of the ECOS SystemManagementAppliance (SMA) for genuconnect ends, after extension, on 08.08.2025.
It is replaced by the authorization to use the ECOS TrustManagementAppliance (TMA). The SMA for genuconnect must therefore be migrated to the TMA.

  • Version 7.60.0 introduces support for IPv6-based transport networks between the SBS and VPN gateways. If IPv6 is supported in your environment and you update your SMA to version 7.60.0, you can use IPv6 addressing immediately after the update.
  • Version 7.61.0 removes support for the previous RDP client in version 2.2.0.

Bug Fixes

APP1393995Configuring multiple allowed certificate authorities (CAs) for client certificates could, under certain circumstances, prevent mTLS-based mutual authentication between the client and the appliance, causing the appliance to reject authentication.
SBS1395844Video conferences could not be held via the Chromium browser because UDP audio communication was blocked.
