Cybersecurity specialist ECOS Technology GmbH and open-source video conferencing provider OpenTalk are combining their technologies to enable highly secure video conferencing for businesses and government agencies. As part of this initiative, the ECOS SecureConferenceCenter solution will be based on OpenTalk’s open-source video conferencing technology going forward. In combination with the BSI-certified ECOS SecureBootStick SX/ZX, the SecureConferenceCenter also enables video conferences with content classified at the VS-NfD and EU/NATO RESTRICTED levels.
OpenTalk brings to the partnership a modern, Germany-developed, and GDPR-compliant video conferencing platform. OpenTalk is consistently focused on open source, data protection, and digital sovereignty and can be operated as an on-premises solution within the internal infrastructure of companies, government agencies, and organizations.
ECOS Technology complements this technology with its proven security architecture and the SecureBootStick for highly secure access to sensitive and classified information.
By combining our security solutions with OpenTalk, we create a consistently sovereign approach for organizations that cannot compromise on security and data sovereignty during video conferences. The partnership combines two complementary approaches: digital sovereignty and open technology, as well as BSI-approved security technology and highly secure access.
Both OpenTalk and ECOS Technology develop their solutions in Germany and are aimed specifically at government agencies, security-critical organizations, and companies with high standards for data protection and information security.
