Shaping technology sustainably
At ECOS Technology, sustainability is more than a commitment, it is part of how we innovate. We believe that technological progress and responsibility for people and the planet must go hand in hand.
We actively support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and have been part of the UN Global Compact since 2023. In 2025, we received the ÖKOPROFIT® certification – an important milestone that reflects our ongoing efforts to integrate environmental and climate protection deeply and permanently into our strategy and daily operations.
By combining secure technology with sustainable action, we aim to create long-term value–for our customers, our employees, and society as a whole.

Sustainability in action
CSR measures and actions: Active climate protection!
Commuting without emissions
Healthy and environmental-friendly
ECOS Technology supports employees with a bike leasing program – a healthy and climate-friendly way to start the workday.
Also, our ECOS team participates in the city cycling campaign STADTRADELN every year. It's a beloved tradition and a fun challenge to see how many kilometers we can cover without using a car.
D-Ticket and Bahncard
Climate-friendly travel for work and leisure
We encourage the use of public transport to promote environmentally friendly mobility. If needed, we finance the Deutschlandticket for our team members or provide a BahnCard for business trips with Deutsche Bahn.
Climate protection
Green electricity
Since 2019, ECOS Technology has used electricity exclusively from renewable energy sources.
Clean mobility
Charging e-cars sustainably
Our underground parking garage is equipped with a wall box that allows employees to charge their electric vehicles with green electricity.
Sustainability management
Reducing our CO₂ footprint
Step by step, we aim to lower our CO₂ footprint. From sustainable procurement choices to smart heating thermostats in our offices, everyday measures make a difference. Our sustainability strategy extends to production and development, including recycling hardware products and optimizing software with more efficient programming languages.
Progress through an active team
CSR café and future workshops
All employees can contribute their topics and ideas: We hold future workshops with all teams to shape the ECOS culture. We regularly address general aspects of sustainability in our CSR Café with presentations and workshops. In this way, expert knowledge on a wide range of topics is brought to light and disseminated within the team.
Every member of our team can contribute ideas and topics. We organize future workshops to shape our corporate culture and regularly address sustainability topics in the CSR Café through presentations and workshops, ensuring that knowledge and best practices are shared across the company.

We are committed to our region
While we serve customers throughout Germany and Europe, our home base is in Rhenish Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate. Here, we support regional ecological, cultural, and social projects to strengthen the region as a center for both life and work.
