MAS100 management appliance and VPN gateway

The ECOS MAS100 management appliance acts as central management of all ECOS products. In addition, it can be used as a VPN gateway for ECOS Mobile Office sticks, ECOS Secure Boot Sticks and ECOS Secure Thin Client modules. The MAS100 is a virtual appliance that runs in any VMware® environment on a Citrix® XenServer or on a dedicated hardware.

Areas of application

• The MAS100 is mandatory for the use of ECOS Mobile Office.
• It is used to manage the sticks and user rights for ECOS Secure Boot sticks;
  it is not mandatory if a very small number of sticks are used.
• Can be used if no VPN infrastructure is in place or the existing one is to be replaced.
• Runs on VMware, XenServer and other virtualization solutions.
• Can also be installed on dedicated hardware.
